What do I do if I am experiencing low pressure?
During summer or fall, low pressure is usually due to demand exceeding supply, especially during hot weather after everyone has turned there sprinklers on. If you have low pressure between 8-10 am and 8-10 pm all you can do is wait.
If you have low pressure at other times in the summer, or at other times of the year, please let us know as it may indicate a problem eslehwere in the system.
My water tastes, looks, and smells funny. Is it safe to drink?
The water system has no treatment and is on a Boil Water Advisory. It is recommended to boil water for a minimum of 1 minute when used for drinking, cooking, brushing teeth, washing dishes and wash fruit and vegetables that will be eaten raw.
Please let us know if you notice anythign unusual with the water supply.
Why is my water discolored?
Sediment may have entered the lines. We flush the distribution system annually which can cause a temporary increase in sediments.
A repair could have been completed recently allowing air to enter the line, causing the discoloration.
What chemicals does our water system add to the water?
The water supply is untreated and no chemicals are added. Please note that the system is on a Boil Water Advisory.
Why does debris come out of the faucet when running hot water?
Most likely your water heater needs to be flushed. CAUTION: Most manufacturers recommend hiring a professional to flush your water heater. If you plan on doing this yourself, read the owner's manual to keep from being hurt and or damaging the water heater.
Why do I have a previous balance when I know I sent in my payment?
We may have received it after the due date or we may not have received it at all. Call our office and we will help you solve the problem.
